Old Town Farm & Art Market

Located in Wichita's historic Old Town district, the Farm & Art Market happens every Saturday 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. from April through October and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. from November through December. Here you can buy from various vendors offering fresh produce, handmade products, or art all from local sources! 

Second Saturday

Second Saturday expands on the Farm & Art Market in Old Town on the Second Saturday of the month. Non-profits, civic organizations, chefs, home cooks, artists, artisans, and pet-friendly organizations are highlighted through demonstrations, classes, activities, and contests.

Sedgwick County Zoo

The Sedgwick County Zoo is rated the number one outdoor attraction in the state, this nationally and internationally-recognized wildlife park has over 2,000 animals of nearly 500 different species. Botanica Gardens

Tucked in the heart of Wichita, Botanica features more than 4,000 species of plants in 34 themed gardens across 18 acres of land. Botanica offers a great place to watch the fall colors come to life, as well as their annual Illuminations event in November and December that features more than two million Christmas lights turning the gardens into a holiday wonderland!

Located on Wichita State’s campus, the Ulrich Museum of Art is home to more than 7,000 contemporary and modern art pieces. The Ulrich features many permanent installations, along with traveling exhibitions, so there’s always something new to see! If you are looking for a new study spot definitely try the Ulrich patio! They have a great outdoor patio space that’s surrounded by beautiful fall colors on campus.
