The Pratt County Scholarship was established to support new, incoming WSU students from Pratt County, Kan. The scholarship is funded by Wichita State University alumni and supporters from Pratt County, and overseen by the Wichita State University Foundation.
Established in 2019, this fund will provide scholarships up to $1,000 with the number awarded determined by the total funds raised. Recipients will be chosen by an impartial selection committee comprised of representatives from the WSU Foundation and WSU Admissions Department. Distribution of awards will begin in the 2019-2020 academic year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be admitted as new freshmen or transfer students to WSU for fall 2019
- Applicants must be incoming from a Pratt High School, Skyline High School or Pratt Community College
- Applicants must be enrolled full time at Wichita State University during the 2019-2020 school year.
Deadline
Applicants must complete and submit their application by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 22. All selected recipients will be notified in early May.
