Building Info

Donald L. Beggs Hall

Donald L. Beggs Hall was constructed in 2007 as the Engineering Research Laboratory Building. The facility houses laboratories for Wichita State's four engineering departments -- aerospace; electrical and computer; industrial and manufacturing; and mechanical. The building was designed by the Wichita-based firm McCluggage Van Sickle & Perry to be open and flexible, allowing for changes in the kind of research that can be conducted as the needs of potential clients change. The building was renamed in honor of retiring WSU President Dr. Donald Beggs on July 1, 2012.
