Fiske Hall

Building Info

Fiske Hall was named for Mrs. Charlotte M. Fiske. Mrs. Fiske generously contributed funds for the construction of the building in the early 1900s. The first cornerstone for the building was laid on the morning of October 29, 1904. Fiske Hall was originally constructed to be a boys dormitory for around 70 young men and was first occupied in the fall semester of 1905. The building has three stories and a basement. Fiske currently houses the departments of history and geography, philosophy and international programs.
