Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Nation in Montana, conveys both humorous and poignant socio-political commentary through her complex paintings and prints. Painter and printmaker Norman Akers is a member of the Osage Nation and Associate Professor of Visual Art at the University of Kansas.
