Literary Feast is KMUW's monthly book club, featuring selections made by KMUW staff. For August we're reading "The Memory Police" by Yoko Ogawa.
"On a small island, objects disappear — perfume, boats, photographs — and the memory police monitor the inhabitants, ensuring these things will be eternally forgotten," writes NPR book reviewer and author Silvia Moreno-Garcia. "We are used to the American style of science fiction, while Ogawa is playing with another deck."
Join us for Digital Literary Feast at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug.19. Registration is free while Lit Feast continues to convene virtually. Visit https://kmuw.org/kmuw-literary-feast to register and we will email you the Zoom link.
