Jazz Arts Ensembles traditionally consist of a 19-piece big band. The repertoire of the ensemble consists of high-level arrangements of varying styles; including swing, Latin, rock, pop charts and new compositions. Jazz Arts Ensemble II will be directed by Curt Garey

Tonight's concert will also showcase another Wichita State's Jazz Combo. An alternative to the larger Jazz Arts Ensembles; the Jazz Combo is a smaller unique group that perform together. These groups are encouraged to create original tunes and arrangements. Directed by Dr. Mark Foley.
