This webinar is a special opportunity for the region to connect with a program officer and ask direct questions about the National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) / Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program. Eric Pierstoff is a program director in the Small Business Innovation Research Program at the National Science foundation. In this hour-long webinar, Pierstoff will be describing the SBIR / STTR program at NSF. He will also cover the program's goal, funding philosophy, topics, funded examples and the project pitch process. For anyone interested, there will be 10-minute one-on-one sessions available  after the presentation for additional questions and answers. This webinar does not cost to attend, but registration is required.
