KMUW's monthly book club features selections made by KMUW staff. For September we're reading "The Last White Man" by Mohsin Hamid. His 2017 novel "Exit West" won numerous literary prizes, including the Aspen Words Literary Prize, was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and was a finalist for the Kirkus Prize.

Mohsin Hamid’s newest novel is titled "The Last White Man." It imagines a world where—one by one—every white person’s skin color turns darker and it explores the chaos and complicated emotions that follow.
Beth Golay, Marginalia

We'll meet in person at KMUW for a group discussion over dinner and drinks from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Dinner is provided by Public.
