The annual Concerto-Aria concert spotlights outstanding student soloists; chosen by audition under Dr. Mark Laycock's direction. The WSU Symphony will also perform Malcolm Arnold's English Dances: Set No. 1; inspired by Dvorak's beloved Slavonic Dances and the First Romanian Rhapsody by Georges Enesco; a most enduring work: colorful, tuneful, and possessing boundless energy.
