The Wallace Invitational for Scholarships in Engineering (WISE) is an exciting competition held each fall for eligible high school seniors interested in studying engineering or computing at Wichita State. Ten $28,500 Wallace Scholarships will be awarded to the winners of the 2023 Wallace Invitational. These students receive the prestigious designation as a Wallace Scholar.

Schedule:

• 8:30 to 9 a.m.: Check-in (Rhatigan Student Center, 3rd Floor)
• 9 to 9:30 a.m.: Welcome Session (Rhatigan Student Center, 3rd Floor)
• 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Competition Rounds (Rhatigan Student Center, 2nd Floor)
• 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Closing Luncheon (Rhatigan Student Center, 3rd Floor)

Optional Activities (in the John Bardo Center):

• 1 to 3 p.m.:
  • John Bardo Center Tours
  • Dessert reception with Society of Women Engineers (SWE), National Society for Black Engineers (NSBE),
    SPHE: Leading Hispanics in STEM, American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), and Out in STEM
