Join us for an extraordinary evening at the Rie Bloomfield Organ Series, featuring the distinguished German organist Dr. Jens Korndörfer. Currently, the Joyce O. Bowden Professor of Music and Associate Professor of Organ at Baylor University in Texas, Dr. Korndörfer brings a wealth of experience and a global reputation to Wichita State University. Praised as “a virtuoso in the grand Romantic tradition” by The American Organist, Dr. Korndörfer’s performances are known for their deep musical satisfaction and thrilling virtuosity.

With a career that has graced prestigious venues such as Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, Westminster Abbey in London, and the Frauenkirche in Dresden, Dr. Korndörfer's repertoire spans from the Renaissance to contemporary works, including world premieres and transcriptions. His "effortless and poetic playing" (Susan Landale) promises to captivate both seasoned organ enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
