Experience the dynamic and diverse talents of the Wichita State University Symphony Orchestra. Comprised of seventy dedicated undergraduate and graduate musicians, this ensemble welcomes students from all academic disciplines who have a passion for performance. The WSU Symphony Orchestra boasts an impressive history of performances at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and international tours in Spain and Canada. They have also graced the stage at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago and the Kansas Music Educators Association state conference.

The orchestra has collaborated with world-renowned artists, including operatic bass Samuel Ramey, jazz guitarist Pat Metheny, jazz vocalist Tierney Sutton, the legendary rock band Kansas, and the innovative arena concert Video Games Live. Their performances promise a captivating blend of classical and contemporary repertoire, showcasing the extraordinary talent and versatility of WSU's finest musicians.
