As WSU's longest-running tradition – every spring since 1928 – Hippodrome is an all-school party promoting Shocker pride through contests and live entertainment leading up to the main event – the Hippodrome skits. Doors open at 6 p.m. Ticket rates on the first night are as follows: WSU Student with ID $4; WSU Faculty/Staff/Partner $5; General Public $6; Kids 12 and under $4. Tickets can be purchased at Student Involvement (RSC 216) starting April 1. WSU students can buy one student ticket for each of the nights at the student rate. Any additional tickets can be purchased for the general public rate. Tickets can also be bought at the door on the night of the performance. All tickets can be purchased with cash or check only.
