Alan Nguyen uses a painting watercolor technique with alcohol and ink to assemble his colorful collection, Stop & See the Colors. Alan states, “Some things can't be appreciated fully unless you slow down to experience it, like looking at stars, looking at nature, and looking at art. In a part in Fahrenheit 451, a main character talks about how people don't even know what grass looks like. They just see a green blur and say, 'That's grass.' But to truly appreciate that or nature or art, you have to slow down.”
