Join us for the latest event in the Hub for Cybersecurity Education and Awareness (HCEA) Sleepless Nights Speaker Series. January's featured speaker is Brig. Gen. David Weishaar. He will speak on Creating a Cybersecurity Workforce and Cyber Threat Responsibilities for the Kansas National Guard
Brig. Gen. David A. Weishaar is the Assistant Adjutant General - Air, Kansas National Guard and the Commander, Kansas Air National Guard. He serves as the chief advisor to The Adjutant General on all matters pertaining to Air National Guard programs, policies, operations, management, and command and control of the Kansas Air National Guard. He also provides staff assistance guidance and direction concerning Air National Guard personnel, administration, training, recruiting and retention incentives and budgetary matters. General Weishaar is responsible for more than 2,300 Kansas Air National Guard personnel serving in two wings and one geographically separated unit. Previous to current assignment, General Weishaar led the 184th Intelligence Wing as the Wing Commander.
