Cameron Davis graduated in May 2024 with a degree in IT/MIS and now works as an IT Systems Analyst at Boeing in Wichita, Kansas. In his current role, he supports business-critical systems, troubleshoots technical issues, and assists with system administration in secure environments. His work also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure systems remain reliable, compliant, and efficient. “The position has expanded my exposure to enterprise infrastructure and security practices, strengthening my foundation in systems and secure enterprise operations,” he shared.

Before stepping into his full-time role, Cameron gained experience through Ennovar, starting as a Help Desk Technician before transitioning into an IAM Analyst role at Textron Aviation. Reflecting on that experience, he said, “Ennovar helped bridge the gap between academics and the real world experience. It gave me hands on experience, strengthened my troubleshooting skills, and improved my communication.” He also noted that Ennovar helped him build accountability and consistency, making the transition into a professional IT environment much smoother.

One of Cameron’s favorite aspects of Ennovar was the culture and responsibility students were given early on. “My favorite part was how Ennovar treated interns like part of the team. I was given real responsibility and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, not just small tasks,” he said. He also appreciated the relationships he built with fellow students and mentors, explaining that learning alongside peers while working with experienced professionals helped build both confidence and technical growth.

Outside of work, Cameron enjoys cooking, going to the gym, traveling, and snowboarding during the winter months. For current Ennovar students, his advice is to fully invest in the experience.

"My advice is to take the experience and opportunity seriously, even while you’re still a student. Be proactive, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Focus on building and practicing skills, but also prioritize communication and professionalism. Make an effort to build genuine relationships. The habits you develop and the connections you build now can have a lasting impact on your career."
