Jennifer Dang is pursuing dual master's degrees in Business Administration (December 2026) and Information Technology (December 2027) while gaining hands-on experience as a Software Developer at Kansas Fiber Network through Ennovar. In her role, Jennifer works across backend, frontend, and middleware development, giving her exposure to every stage of the software development process while strengthening both her technical knowledge and understanding of how projects come together in a professional environment.
For Jennifer, Ennovar has been an opportunity to grow both technically and personally. "Ennovar has helped me grow in many ways by exposing me to new ways of approaching different technical complexities within my career as I get to learn how to apply both my business and technical sides." She also credits the program with helping her build confidence. "Personally, I believe that Ennovar have given me that opportunity to step into the unknown and embrace the challenges along the way."
Jennifer's career path wasn't always focused on technology. Coming from a different background, she became inspired after seeing firsthand the impact technology and data have on healthcare. "This inspired me to shift my path and opened a world that I didn't understand before."
Seeing how technology could improve everything from patient care to organizational performance motivated her to pursue both business and IT.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys playing video games, collecting playing cards, and playing several instruments, including the guitar. She's also a member of the All Saints Dragon and Lion Dance Team, which recently competed in the 2026 USA Lion Dance National Championships.
