Lives of Our Ancestors: An Asmat Bis Ceremony

 

This film was created by Troy Belford, a graduate student in anthropology at Wichita State University.

The footage was shot in the Asmat region of New Guinea Island by Troy Belford and Jerry Martin,  Director of the Holmes Museum of Anthropology, during the summer of 2007. Narrated by Dr. Peer Moore-Jansen.
