Before coming to WSU, Kelsey taught English-Language Arts at the high school level, including dual-credit writing courses, standard 9-12 English, and creative writing. 

Kelsey has also particiapted in library science practicums with grades K-4 and 5-6.

Prior to teaching, she worked in technology, copyediting, marketing, technical writing, and tutoring.
