Jordyn is currently a junior at Wichita State and has four years of work experience with progressively increasing responsibilities. She currently works as a Project Researcher and Developer for ShockStarter at Wichita State’s Shocker Career Accelerator. Jordyn is also a member of Barton International Group, a student run consulting business housed in the W. Frank Barton School of Business. Jordyn holds a love of photography from childhood. She finds photography allows her to express herself in ways words cannot. Jordyn wants her art to touch the heart of others or change their perspectives and tell others about it. Jordyn often participates in volunteer activities with her family.

Jordyn was attracted to the Widener-GLP because diversity is very important to her, and she seeks to develop her skills to prepare for the professional world. She is excited to join like-minded girls in exploring this adventure into the future. She is excited to learn everyone's stories and help build each other into stronger leaders. Additionally, Jordyn did not want to pass up the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be able to network with the inspirational women of the industry advisory board.

Jordyn’s dream job is to work for Vogue magazine either as a photographer or social media coordinator. She is also interested in some other high-end magazines that set new trends. She is seeking an internship related to social media, research, copywriting, marketing, or public relations. She is interested in companies that positively impact the world.
