Overview
Christa Rude Vazeos is a Wichita, Kansas native and International Model who began working in Paris, France, at the age of 16. Throughout her 30+ year career, she has worked closely with the industry’s most prestigious fashion houses and advertising agencies, in some of the world’s toughest markets such as Paris, New York, Milan and Tokyo.
She has travelled all over the world on assignment, is tri lingual and has lived on every continent but Antarctica. Christa’s career was based in Paris, France for ten years, then 20 years in Athens, Greece.
Currently, she lives in both Greece and Kansas, so that her 16 year old daughter can
enjoy the American high school experience, as a 5th generation student, within her
family, at Wichita High School East.
Christa finds it also important to balance American experiences while replenishing
intercultural relationships around their home, in Greece, during their summers.
Aside from working with high profile people in the fashion industry, Christa has been active with several groups, locally, such as her service as a Girl Scout Leader, starting a pilot troop for “Girls Who Code”, at Wichita State University, through the Engineering School. She has worked with homeless shelters in Wichita as well as the Syrian refugees in Greece.
Throughout these vast experiences, Christa has learned the importance of soft skill
management to best accommodate a world’s perspective. Because of her personal experiences,
she has presented
to various organizations such as the American Heart Association and PEO chapters,
with audiences ranging from 5 to 85 years old.
Christa believes that realizing one’s personal talent and interests, then conducting it in a manner that is well regarded in any location, is the base of innovation and style. Mastering soft skills is mastering one’s style.
Christa has a passion for fashion. However, she believes that fashion can fade, style is forever.
