Overview
Dr. Zewde was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He completed High School from Medhane’Alem (መድኃኔዓለም) Comprehensive Secondary School, which boldly promotes "Enter Here the Timeless Followship
of Human Mind - ከዚህ ከማይሞተው የሰው ልጅ ማደጊያ ስፍራ ግቡ" at the gate. For his B.Sc. and M.SC.
degrees in Electrical Engineering, he attended Bahir Dar University and Addis Ababa University, respectively. In 2017, he received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, NY. Professionally, he worked as Electrical Engineer for almost a year, but spent
most of his carrer in academic institutions. Currently, he is an Associate Teaching
Professor at Wichita State University.
