Overview

Tom is a native of Newton and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (summa cum laude) from Kansas State University. He currently has the following Cybersecurity-related certifications:

In June of 2022, Tom retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, completing a 28-year career in law enforcement. He was formerly an Overland Park (Kansas) Police Department Police Officer, a United States Border Patrol Agent, and a Special Agent of the FBI. The last several years of Tom’s FBI career were spent as an FBI Cyber Agent, investigating Cyber threats and advanced hacking groups.
