Angela Blackerby is the Academic Advisor for undergraduate students in the Aerospace Engineering Department and has been since June, 2017. In addition, Angela is a certified Academic Life Coach. Angela believes in holistic advising of students and loves helping them!

In 2024, Angela was awarded the Region Seven Best of Kansas presentation at the Kansas Academic Advising Network conference for her presentation on "The Importance of Pre-Advising in Building Student Relationships." She was also awarded the KAAN Supportive Advisor Award for exemplary commitment to advising and advocacy for students and advisors.
In 2019, Angela was awarded the TAN Excellence in Academic Advising award.
Active member of KAAN (Kansas Academic Advising Network) and NACADA.
