Overview
Saurabh Sanjay Singh is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Industrial, Systems and Manufacturing Engineering department at the College of Engineering, Wichita State University. Under the guidance of Dr. Deepak Gupta, his research focuses on energy engineering and sustainability, with emphasis on applied optimization and reinforcement learning. Saurabh's academic contributions were recognized in 2024 with the Dwane and Velma Wallace Graduate Teaching Assistant Award, presented by Dr. Anthony Muscat. He serves as an instructor for undergraduate courses in the ISME department and has demonstrated his research prowess by winning first place in the IISE South Central Conference poster competition. Additionally, Saurabh contributes to energy efficiency initiatives as an assistant energy auditor at the USDOE-sponsored Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) lab at WSU.
Fun Fact: When not in the lab or classroom, Saurabh enjoys pushing himself as a recreational powerlifter.
