Overview

Lynne is a second year MPA student at Wichita State University. Prior to her Studies at WSU, She completed a law degree from Brunel University, London, United Kingdom and has over five years professional experience working as a legal officer in the Technology and Financial Industries. Presently, she works as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs, which involves working on a wide range of projects with faculty staff.

One of such projects was working with Empower, a non-profit organization, assisting with gathering information from census data and business owners from a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood to ascertain their challenges in starting a business. The aim of the project was to ensure that the non-profit organization provides relevant services to the community. On completion of her MPA degree, she hopes to work in local government and make a positive impact in the community she serves, through the effective implementation of public policies.
