Overview

Rachelle Swilley received a double degree from Wichita State University, a B.A. in French and a B.B.A in Marketing with a minor in Economics. In her youth, she lived in France for ten years. During her time at Wichita State University, she returned to France to do internships at Crédit Agricole in Grenoble and la Confédération du Commerce de Gros et International (CGI) in Paris.

After graduating from WSU in 1998, Swilley began working for Bombardier-Learjet in supply chain and then in marketing. She was the project manager and trainer for the Bombardier service center Customer Satisfaction System. In 2007, she began teaching French at WSU for the department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures. She has taught French 111, 112, and 210. Her classes are mainly offered on the west campus.

Rachelle and her family often return to France to visit close friends and family members. She is also the administrator of the French at Wichita State University Facebook page, keeping the community informed of various French activities in the Wichita area.
