Favorite hangout spot on campus
My favorite spot to hangout on campus is the Promise Bridge! During the spring, the flowers are blooming, the water is sparkling, and it is a peaceful spot to walk, sit, and reflect.
Advice for future Shockers
As you are preparing for college, don’t underestimate the things that you can do. Start now by applying for any scholarship you are eligible for, no matter how large or small. When you come to campus as a Shocker, get involved in the things you are passionate about, whether that be in your academic department, your interests, or causes that you are passionate about. You may surprise yourself how much you are capable of, and these experiences will make you confident and capable!
