Freshman: Caruso earned his spot on the selected team through an impressive tryout performance in the fall of 2022. During his season, he competed in five events, averaging 218 for 24 games. He finished in the top 20 in four events during the course of the year. Caruso ended the year holding the Helmer Cup as the Shockers brought home the team’s 13^th national championship in Las Vegas, Nev.

Personal: Caruso is the son of Gail and Brent Caruso of Channahon, Ill. He has a younger brother, Ethan Caruso. Caruso attended Minooka Community High School and has six 300 games to his credit.
