2022-2023 Season: Hayes got preselected and continued to earn his spot onto 2023 ITC National Championship roster. Hayes played a big role during the season off the bench averaging 223 for the 12 games he bowled
Freshman: Hayes again earned his way on to the selected team through the tryout process. He competed in five events and averaged 191 over 21 games. Hayes was part of the 2022 ITC National Championship runner-up team and was an NCBCA Scholar Athlete Award Winner.
Sophomore: Hayes earned his way on to the selected team through the annual tryout process. During the season, he competed in three events, averaging 202 over 13 games. Hayes was part of the 2022 ITC National Championship team and was an NCBCA Scholar Athlete award winner.
Personal: Hayes is the son of Laura Hudson and Jamie Hayes, both of Terre Haute, Ind. Hayes graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High school prior to coming to Wichita State. Hayes has 3 300 games as well as 2 800s. In the summer of 2022, Hayes made a fantastic run at Junior Gold finishing 5th.
