Freshman: Hurwitz is a pre-selected freshman who is dedicated to growing more knowledge and experience in the sport. For this season, he has placed in the Top 10 twice and the Top 25 once. At SWIBC IV, Hurwitz was able to secure an 8th place finish while averaging 215 for 6 games. During the Mid States Championships, he placed 9th with a 207 average for 5 games. His top 25 placement was at the 12th Annual Lions Classic where he placed 17th carrying a 200 average for 6 games. His end of season average was a 197 for 26 games.
Before WSU: Cameron has been featured on the 2015 and 2019 cover of the Bowlers Journal. In 2018, he was the High School Player of the Year. He has been on both the Splitting Boards USBC podcast in 2020 and the Bowling Explained USBC podcast in 2021. Cameron has bowled eight 300’s and has a high series of 799.
Personal: The son of Caryn and Scott Hurwitz, Cameron was born on September 6, 2002. He has two brothers Reese and Chase. He is majoring in Product Design/Manufacturing Engineering. Cameron, his brother Reese, and their father Scott own Magnum Bowling Products
