Freshman: Klassen was preselected her first year at Wichita State. Starting out the season at the 50th Annual Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic, Sarah placed 20th overall averaging 195 for 6 games. She then placed 15th at the SWIBC III with an average of 173 for 5 games. For the 2018-19 season, Klassen averaged 181 for 36 games.

Sophomore: For Klassen’s second year at Wichita State, she was preselected. Klassen had made the All Tournament Team four times in a row during the season and also had a 13th place finish at the SWIBC II tournament. She placed 2nd at the Collegiate Shoot-Out averaging 205 for 6 games, 5th place at the Leatherneck Classic with a 208 average for 6 games, 4th place at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge averaging 195 for 6 games, and placed 4th at the Mid States Championships while averaging 202 for 6 games. Klassen’s overall average for her successful sophomore season was 194 for 53 games.

Junior: As Klassen starts off her Junior season as a preselected member of the Women’s team, she has two top 25 placements at the Jayhawk Collegiate Classic II (20th) and the 12th Annual Lions Classic (25th). She continued to get two more Top 25 placements at SWIBC III where she placed 13th with a 198 average for 4 games and at SWIBC IV where she placed 11th with a 208 average for 4 games. Her end of season average is 189 for 28 total games.

Before WSU: Before coming to bowl for Wichita State, Klassen had been a prevailing member of Team Canada. She has earned 1 Gold Medal, 5 Silver Medals, and 3 Bronze Medals at the Tournament of America’s. Klassen’s has a high series of 797 and her highest game is a 290.

Personal: The daughter of Rob and Michelle Klassen, Sarah was born September 22, 2000. She has two older siblings, her sister Natasha and her brother Jordan. She is majoring in Accounting with a minor in French. Sarah has been on Team Canada for 5 years.
