Why did you choose WSU?
I chose WSU because as someone who’s from Wichita I love how I can get the college
experience whether that’s from housing and residence life, on campus jobs, or being
involved in different student organizations but also be able to go home whenever I
like.
Why did you want to be a Transition Mentor?
I wanted to become a Transition Mentor because as a first gen student I wanted to
be that representation for all other first gen’s and be a helping hand in whatever
questions, doubts, or concerns they may have in regards to college life.
What's one thing all Shockers should know?
All shockers should try to get an on campus job if they can especially as a student
assistant!
Favorite Shocker Experience:
My fav shocker experience was establishing a new student organization and seeing the
growth of a new community form as it’s been a year since being founded.
One thing on your bucket list:
Visit Italy!
