Why did you choose WSU?
I chose WSU because they provided so many opportunities that I didn’t see anywhere
else. Being from out of state, they made it very affordable for me and provided lots
of aid options. It’s also far enough away from home that I get that true college experience,
but close enough that I can go home whenever I want to.
Why did you want to be a Transition Mentor?
I wanted to be a Transition Mentor because I wanted to help make people feel as welcome
as I did, as well as make the transition to college easier. Knowing there’s someone
in your corner can always help make a new experience more tolerable.
What's one thing all Shockers should know?
One thing all Shockers should know is to never be afraid to ask for help. There are
so many resources on campus that are there to help you, and they always make you feel
welcome.
Favorite Shocker Experience:
One of my favorite Shocker experiences was Clash of the Colleges! It was so much fun
and I met so many people! I also loved the competition because who doesn’t love a
good friendly competition?
One thing on your bucket list:
One thing on my bucket list is to travel to every European country! I love traveling
and exploring new places.
