Why did you choose WSU?
I chose WSU because it has always been a big part of my family, it has an absolutely
amazing psychology program, and let’s be real, it’s extremely affordable.
Why did you want to be a Transition Mentor?
I truly enjoyed my orientation experience, so I wanted to help run orientations as
well. But what truly solidified that I wanted to be a mentor was Clash of the Colleges,
I had so much fun that I wanted to be more involved in the process.
What's one thing all Shockers should know?
Get to know people. This includes peers and your faculty/staff. I have been able to
make amazing connections that will help me in my future career; you never know who
someone knows.
Favorite Shocker Experience:
My favorite Shocker Experience would have to be Clash of the Colleges. I had so much
fun the first time around, and then getting to win the second time around, it just
cannot be beat!
One thing on your bucket list:
The biggest thing on my bucket list currently is to go to New York and see some musicals
on Broadway. It’s been on my list for a long time now!
