Bio
Elgin Earl serves as the Professional Opportunities Director for the 69th Session of the Student Government Association. Director Earl joined SGA to become more involved in creating meaningul opportunities and postitive change for students at Wichita State. He believes student voices should not only be heard, but also represented in the decisions that impact our campus community. Through SGA, Director Earl is excited at the opportunity to connect students with resources, professional development opportunities, and campus partners while advocating for their needs and concerns. He also joined SGA because he wanted to grow as a leader, strengthen his professional skills, and learn how to effectively work with people from different backgrounds and perspectives. Director Earl hopes to use his postion to help make the student experience more connected, accessible, and rewarding while leaving a positive impact of the University.
Goal
Director Earl's main goals for the session are to:
- Expand professional development and career opportunities for students.
- Strengthen connections between SGA, campus departments, alumni, and community partners.
- Increase awareness of resources and opportunities available to students.
- Advocate for student needs and ensure student voices are represented.
- Create meaningful opportunities for students to network,grow, and build relationships.
- Build strong partnerships that can continue beyond this session.
