Bio
Grace Naylor is the Student Body Treasurer for the 69th Session of The Student Governement Association. Treasurer Naylor came to Wichita State, looking for a way to get involved and make a difference. Joining the Finance Commission and Student Senate introduced her to a group of student leaders who genuinely care about serving others and making the campus better for everyone. Since then, she has learned that some of the most meaningful work happens when you put students first. Whether it's supporting student organizations, advocating for student needs, or helping create positive change, every opportunity to serve has reminded me why I joined SGA in the first place.
Goal
My goals for this Session are to be proactive, accessible, and transparent. I know college can be overwhelming at times, so I want students to have access to the information and resources they need before they have to search for them. Sometimes knowing where to start makes all the difference. I also want to be a familiar face on campus. I don't want students to feel like they have to schedule a meeting or jump through hoops to talk to me. Whether it's at a tabling event, walking across campus, or at an SGA event, I hope students feel comfortable stopping me, asking questions, sharing concerns, or simply saying hello. Most importantly, I want to be open and honest about the work we do. Students deserve to understand how decisions are made, how funding is allocated, and how the SGA works on their behalf. At the end of the day, I want to make the student government feel approachable and make life just a little easier for the students we serve.
