Overview

Liz serves as the Assistant Director for Student Engagement & Belonging. She strives to uplift and inspire voices from our underserved and under represented populations. She supervises a team of qualified and passionate professionals as well as advises two student organizations: the Ambassadors for Diversity and Inclusion, and Spectrum: LGBTQ and Allies. Liz is passionate about facilitating training and development for students, faculty and staff. With a background in Student Conduct and Housing and Residence Life, she leads with a restorative justice approach by encouraging all to use their voices and be heard. Her goal within the Student Engagement & Belonging Office is to create a safe space for ALL students to be themselves without fear of judgment or retaliation, and find their home away from home.

Student Conduct and Community Standards: Student Conduct Coordinator
  • Recruited and Trained students who are members of the Academic Integrity Committee and Student Conduct Boards.
  • Trained Faculty and Staff members of the Academic Integrity Committee and Student Conduct Boards.
  • Investigated and adjudicated cases of alleged student misconduct, including cases related to academic dishonesty, alcohol, and other drug violations, hazing and student organization conduct, and student housing policy violations
  • Met with individual students and witnesses, gather and assess the evidence, determine credibility, and prepare investigation reports regarding the findings of student conduct investigations
  • Managed an assigned student conduct caseload from receipt of referral to case closure using Maxient Conduct Manager software
  • Provided training for identified student conduct officers and co-supervise case management as the Housing & Residence Life office liaison
