Congratulations to those who received awards in April!  Thanks to all of their talents and hard work, as of April 30, 2024, WSU researchers under Academic Affairs have submitted proposals budgeting a total of $69,977,890 and received $84,724,644 in awards.

As announced by President Muma on May 8, 2024, Wichita State University updated its organizational structure to better support the vision and mission. Academic research efforts and the industry and defense research program will once again be united in one office under the leadership of Dr. John Tomblin, Executive Vice President for Research and Industry & Defense Programs. This change will allow the university to reunite our academic and industry research efforts, as was the case prior to 2020.
