Multiple Graduate Research Assistantship Positions Open


  • Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) & Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) Positions Open

Dr. Kim Cluff seeks multiple highly qualified Master’s Students for Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) and Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) positions in the BIoME Lab at Wichita State University. Tuition and a competitive stipend are offered with the assistantship. Continuation of the Assistantship is contingent upon satisfactory academic and research performance and availability of funds. Positions will begin in August 2017 - The positions will be open until filled.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and have strong enthusiasm to learn and seek a challenging multidisciplinary research environment. A background in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, wearable sensors, RF resonators, RF ID tags, medical devices, electronics, electrical circuits, signal processing, data analysis, FEA modeling, biofluids, and a knowledge of anatomy and physiology is desirable although all qualified candidates will be considered. Strong skills in Matlab, Solidworks, Comsol, Instrumentation control, and knowledge of Vector Network Analyzers, will be considered a plus. Strong writing skills, critical thinking, and a willingness to learn independently are a must. Current research in the BIoME lab can be found in the lab website (https://www.wichita.edu/BIoME_Lab).
