The Biomedical sensor, Imaging, and Modeling Engineering (BIoME) Lab at Wichita State University is offering a summer internship for 2-3 upper level high school students from North High School Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical Sciences program. These students will participate in NASA funded research to develop novel biomedical sensors for monitoring crew health and mission critical physiological parameters. This will be a 2 week (July 10th – July 21st) summer research experience gaining hands on experience with bio-sensor development, ultrasound imaging, data collection, and data analysis. Students will receive a scholarship of $300 for the internship.
