LASI 150G Interstellar Seminar now enrolling for Spring 2023

WSU biological sciences Professor Mark Schneegurt will serve as lead instructor for a new spring 2023 course: LASI 150G Interstellar Seminar.

This 1-credit hour course, which will be held on Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:20 CT beginning January 18 (WSU's Spring 2023 semester), introduces students to current research topics in interstellar space sciences and offers an opportunity to interact with scientists conducting active research.  The course will survey topics related to crewed interstellar missions, from life support systems to propulsion to social issues.  Each lecture will given by an expert in that field of study.

Lectures will be offered remotely, featuring synchronous and asynchronous delivery of course lectures. Note: The credit hour you earn for this course does not fill any requirement for science majors. Course includes diversity content.

CRN codes for Spring 2023 are: 26710 for hybrid and 26711 for online only.
