Celebrating Faculty Excellence at Wichita State University
Wichita State University’s Scholars Walk, founded in 2025, recognizes some of the
exceptional research and classroom accomplishments of our award-winning faculty.
Located near the heart of campus, the Scholars Walk runs along a prominent walkway
extending northeast from the Plaza of Heroines, with selected faculty displayed on
banners along the way. The banners have QR codes that lead to biographies and other
information.
The faculty featured in the Scholars Walk were chosen by each of WSU’s academic colleges
in coordination with the Office of Academic Affairs.
