• Assists communication between students, faculty, and staff when necessary.
• Overseas the daily functionality of the program.
• Ensures the program receives funding to continue providing support and services for students.
• Always available to students for conversation, concerns, and considerations!

Caitlin Bruner, Academic Advisor/Study Skills Coordinator

Bachelor of General Studies in Criminal Justice

• Advises a caseload of 65 students per academic year.
• Provides academic assistance, financial aid advising, ADA advising, and overall holistic advising to ensure student success.
• Assists communication between students, faculty, and staff when necessary.
• Supervises and guides TRIO DSS student ambassadors.

Kenya Sevilla-Romero, Academic Advisor/Tutor Coordinator

• Advises a caseload of 50 students per academic year.
• Provides academic assistance, financial aid advising, ADA advising, and overall holistic advising to ensure student success.
• Assists communication between students, faculty, and staff when necessary.
• Supervises 8-10 tutors.

Administrative Specialist/Database Manager

 

• Supervises all office operations
• Maintains DSS database files
• Collects and analyzes data for reporting to the Department of Education, the university and community
• Assists the Director in maintaining program budget
