Position Description:

  1. Schedule and chair meetings of the Executive Committee as well as summon any necessary emergency meetings.
  2. Oversee the work done by each of the other Executive Committee Officers and their Committees.
  3. Delegate assignments to each officer
  4. Keep track of the tasks being accomplished by each of the other officers
  5. Ensure that tasks are being accomplished in a timely manner.
  6. Give direction and advice to Executive Committee members.
  7. Take responsibility for tasks needed by organization not assigned to other officers.
  8. Act as main ISU representative to the University at large.

Qualifications:

Required:

  1. F-1 Visa Status with not more than 12 hours of enrollment (if undergraduate) or 9 hours of enrollment (if graduate).
  2. Junior or higher classification at WSU. If Graduate Student, must have completed at least one year at WSU.
  3. A minimum of 2.25 GPA (if undergraduate) and 3.00 (if graduate student).
  4. A minimum of one semester of demonstrated active participation in ISU activities.
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  6. Active experience in a position of responsibility in an organization.
