Overview
Tuition assistance is available for eligible Wichita State University employees and their dependents and/or spouse who wish to further their education through classes in a qualifying program at the University.
New in 2020 - Online application process!
Effective in the application period for the Summer 2020 academic term, the application process for both employee and spouse/dependent tuition assistance has been revised to be online-only.
Program Timelines
Due to the volume of applications received each semester, applications received after the deadline will be automatically denied. There will be no exceptions.

*When the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, applications will be accepted through the end of the following University business day.
**Priority deadline for tuition assistance applications is Dec 1, with the final deadline of Jan 5. Awards for applications received after priority deadline will be based on availability of funds.
2018 Tuition Assistance Policy Update
In 2018, Human Resources and the Provost’s Office completed a review of the current Employee and Spouse/Dependent Children Tuition Assistance programs. Additionally, feedback from the University Support Staff Senate and the Unclassified Professional Senate were incorporated into the modifications to existing policy which were effective for the Fall 2018 semester.
