I need training
The university provides a lot of training for faculty, staff, and students -- but it can be challenging to find the right place to get the training that you need on a specific task, skill, or value.
Faculty Development
The Faculty Development office provides training for faculty on subjects like the tenure process and the mandatory syllabus.
Human Resources (HR)
The office of Human Resources provides a variety of training programs for all staff, and tracks that training (and the training of many other units) through the myTraining web site.
Instructional Design and Access (IDA)
Instructional Design and Access provides training in a variety of ways for instructional staff, including training on instructional technology, accessibility, and instructional design. To find out more, check out the IDA training site.
Information Technology Services (ITS)
ITS provides training for all staff on Microsoft Office and other software provided and used on campus. Training is scheduled and made available through myTraining.
MRC-Web Services
The MRC's Web services team provides training on the Omni Update Campus content management system, which is used to maintain the main university web site. Trainings are scheduled and managed through the Website Support web site.
Office of Diversity and Inclusion
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion provides a variety of training for the university community. Training is available through the myTraining web site.
