What is Recovery Connect?
Recovery Connect is a Sedgwick County economic recovery program that connects individuals, businesses, and nonprofits with resources to help them recover from the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Why Recovery Connect?
Recovery Connect can help people who are struggling with a broad range of challenges like healthcare, childcare, living expenses, housing, employment, or food, because of the pandemic. There are a number of resources available, and it can be hard to know where to start. Recovery Connect is your first stop if you’re looking for pandemic-related assistance. We can get you connected to resources you need.
Resource Highlights
If you are looking for immediate assistance with housing costs, there are options available through both the state of Kansas Housing Corp and the City of Wichita. In addition to rent and mortgage assistance, there are programs available aid with cost of utilities or internet.
Struggling with unemployment or underemployment as a result of COVID-related economic impacts? Searching for a job is hard work. Resources are available to make it easier. Kansas Workforce Centers offer a broad range of job-related services including training, education, resume assistance, and job fairs.
Working families may be able get help with child care costs. See if you are eligible for child care relief from the state of Kansas.
