POLICY
RHATIGAN STUDENT CENTER
PATIO USAGE

Adjacent to the front (East) of the Rhatigan Student Center is a 124' X 26' patio. Access to the patio may be gained from inside the Rhatigan Student Center or from the North, South or East parts of the campus. A small patio is located on the Northwest side of the Rhatigan Student Center. Reservations for either patio may be made through the University Reservations Office, located on the first floor of the Rhatigan Student Center, 316-978-3475. The following guidelines apply:

  1. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  2. Only one (1) event at a time will be scheduled for each patio.
  3. Rental fees for the East or West Patios will be quoted by the University Reservations Office.
  4. All food service related to an event on either the Rhatigan Student Center East or West Patios or its surrounding environs must be provided by University Dining Services.
  5. Events scheduled on the East or West patios or its surrounding environs involving audio equipment, must maintain a sound level agreeable to the Rhatigan Student Center as determined by the University Reservations Office. Sound levels cannot be such that it disturbs or interrupts academic activities in the surrounding buildings.
  6. Cancelations should be made three (3) business days in advance of the scheduled date.
  7. The University Reservations Office can provide additional information regarding dances scheduled on the East Patio, as different policies apply.
